The counseling office seeks to
implement the Social Emotional Learning (SEL) program in all classes and with
all students, to promote psychological health, increase children’s resilience,
educational outcomes, and overall psychological wellbeing. SEL is a process
taught through several activities, both individually and in groups.
Additionally, the counselor meets
with students regularly, and designs a plan for those who may need further
intervention, be it at the behavioral, emotional, or psychosocial level.
